RAECO Health, Safety and Environment protection policy states that it will carry out its operations so as to:
- Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all its personnel, employees, sub contractors and others who may be affected by its activities.
- Ensure the safe operation of all industrial plants and equipment under its contracts.
- Protect the environment and prevent pollution.
- The company will comply fully with the laws and statutes of the Sultanate of Oman. The company’s activities under the P.D.O. Contracts shall comply fully with P.D.O.‘s safety regulations.
- The company shall pursue this policy through action plans and individual contribution of its employees and that of its subcontractors, supported by education and training. In doing so, it will be guided by the following principles:
- That health, safety and environment protection form an integral part of the company’s business activities.
- That managing health, safety and environment protection is a line responsibility.
- That all accidents are preventable.
- The company shall remain fully responsible for ensuring that its work is carried out in a safe manner, inclusive of duties undertaken on its behalf.
